Playa Blanca, Lanzarote: The Island’s Favourite Family Resort
Playa Blanca, Lanzarote is probably now the most popular resort on Lanzarote for family holidays. Located at the southernmost tip of the island, Playa Blanca enjoys the best weather and is an ideal destination in winter as well as summer. Lanzarote holiday villas quickly find themselves booked up for the February and October/November half term breaks, as well as for Easter, Christmas, and New Year.

In between, there is also the port of Playa Blanca, where ferries travel to and from Fuerteventura.

These range in size from 2 bedroomed, semi-detached villas close to the centre to 4 bedroomed luxury, properties, which can be seen as you travel south from the town towards the lighthouse and Montana Roja (Red Mountain) areas at the southernmost tip of the resort. These villas often enjoy great views of the Bocaina Straits, as well as the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos.
