Human bodies need a break from the stress of work. We normally ignore the importance of proper rest and relaxation, but without it our bodies do not have time to repair, recuperate and grow.

Holidays also give us a break from the stringent nine to five routine, in which our lives tend to get very mechanical. It gives us a break from that schedule so that our bodies could relax and recuperate for the future.

Taking holidays also tends to improve the breathing of people. Breathing is a highly important part of our health. It is suggested that after every few months, at least three days of stay should be done in an entirely pure and clean environment so that the lungs and the bloodstream get a chance to clean up.

Often our lives tend to get so mechanical that we find it hard to get ourselves out of bed in the morning to go to work. Most of us are deprived of sleep. At least we do not get as much sleep as we would like to have. Holidays give us a chance to catch up on this sleep.

The importance of spending quality time with family and children cannot be emphasized enough. Holidays allow us to get to know our children at a whole new level and create wonderful memories with them that will always be cherished.

Holidays tend to rejuvenate us so that we are better prepared for our everyday lives. They allow us to do things that we do not normally do. They tend to make us fresh and see life from an entirely different angle.

Finally, holidays give us a break from our regular life so that we can truly analyse our lives. It helps clarify our perspective towards life and adds meaning to it.
