If you are a scout troop and want to experience this, as well as be apart of the flag raising in front of the monument, then you will want to make arrangements early. There is many outdoor activities from hiking to fishing and there is even a wonderful camp ground for your trip to pitch their tents and spend the night. Mt.Rushmore is a sight that should be witness by all, and even while you are witnessing it you will be in complete awe, no matter what your age.
